Ziaur Rahman
Co-Founder, Chairman
Mr. Ziaur Rahman, co-founder of Sirius Broadband (BD) Limited, has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO since the Company's inception. Sirius is the only internet service provider in Bangladesh which provides wireless broadband internet using "Wireless DOCSIS", "non-line-of-sight S-CDMA" , spread spectrum technology and Fiber Optic Network to serve all kind of customers' needs. Sirius is the only Motorola authorized BCS distributor for Bangladesh. Mr. Rahman is also the President, international operations of Tigerit.com LLC, a software company based in Los-Angeles, CA. TigerIT has developed the most popular java compliant Smartphone browser for Orange which is now being widely used in the USA. He is also the founder of Therap (BD) Limited which has been offering reliable, secure, Online Incident Reporting Services to the US service providers, service managers, health professionals, and regulators. Prior to Sirius, Mr. Rahman served as the Managing Director of Spectra Solutions Limited, an IBM Business Partner distributor in Bangladesh. He has had significant experience as a CEO & CTO in various technology companies since 1995. He holds his B.S.E.E. from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology.
Lt Commander M Shafiul Haque ( Rtd )
Managing Director
Mr. Shafiul Haque holds a BSC(Engr) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from BUET. He has had over ten years of experience in Bangladesh Navy. He worked there as a computer project officer in Naval Stores Depot, Chittagong to develop computerized inventory management system. He also worked as a General Staff Officer- 2 (Computer) in Defense Services Command and Staff College at Mirpur Cantonment. He has vast experience in detail oriented multi tasking and possesses strong organizing capabilities. His training includes Basic Naval Officer's Training in Bangladesh Naval Academy- 1988-89. He is also trained in Kobelt Asia Private Ltd, Singapore on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of communication, wireless and telegraph equipment. He is responsible for the operation of Sirius Head office.
David Klein
Co-Founder, Managing Director
Mr. Klein, an attorney by training, has spent the last 2 years as Executive Vice President and one of the founders of Homeviewmedia.com, an Internet Media company which served immigrants from emerging countries. Prior to this, Mr. Klein spent 5 years as a Senior Vice President at IDT Corporation, a publicly traded telecommunications provider. During his employment at IDT, Mr. Klein was responsible for the negotiations and management of their global telephony network build out. He has been involved in negotiations with telephone companies, businessmen and government officials in more than 20 Countries around the world. Mr. Klein is also the President of Delkom, LLC, an International Telecommunications Consulting farm based in New York. Upon graduation from Law School, Mr. Klein was an associate at Lichtschein, Friedman & Ehrlich and Regosin, Edwards, Stone& Feder where he concentrated in Real Estate Law and Commercial Litigation. Mr. Klein Graduated with a J.D. from the Syracuse University College of Law and a B.A. with Honors from Queens College.
Gordon E. Kime
Co-Founder, Technical Director
Mr. Kime has over 19 years experience in UNIX networking, system administration, and programming. He founded ICS, an ISP technical support provider, in 1988 and has acquired a clientele that is comprised of several fortune 100 companies and many smaller businesses. Mr. Kime established Linknet Internet Services in 1995, for which he built a customer base of 12,000 subscribers in only 18 months, prior to selling the network to IDT Corp (NDQ:IDTC) for a $3 million profit. Mr. Kime has been instrumental in developing new high-tech ventures including an international private telephone line business that employs a sophisticated voice compression technology. Additionally, in 1993 Mr. Kime founded VDI, a software development company, which sold network security software through an internally developed national sales channel. Mr. Kime holds a B.S. in Biology from New Mexico State University, which he complemented with extensive undergraduate studies in Accounting and Management Information Systems at Louisiana College.
Mansur Habib
Co-Founder, Director
Mr. Habib has completed his Graduation and Masters in computer engineering from Georgian Technical University in 1994. Mr. Habib is a co founder and director of Spectra Solutions Limited, one of the pioneer dialup ISPs in Bangladesh which has its points of presence in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. Mr. Habib is also a co founder and director of, Xirus systems Limited , First Frame Relay wireless data connectivity solutions provider in Bangladesh. He is also the co-founder, director of Sirius Broadband BD Limited, and Homeviewbangladesh.com LLC first WISP(Wireless ISP) in Bangladesh and e-commerce site/web portal for Bangladeshi Diaspora. One of his responsibilities is the sales and marketing in the Bangladesh market.
Patwary Rafique Uddin Hyder
Director
Mr. Hyder is a Director of Sirius and responsible for the Chittagong operation. Mr. Hyder has had over 13 years experience in developing consumer brands, both in traditional media and on the Internet. Mr. Hyder is one of the founders of Spectra Solutions and Xirus Systems Limited. Mr. Hyder holds his B.S. in Marketing and Management.
Taaseen Akter Haque
Director
Mr. Taaseen is self employed, owner of Russelco Limited, Printing Machinery & Accessories Ltd. He has ten years of working experience in representing foreign world renowned manufacturers of paper, bank note paper, printing, security printing machine in Bangladesh. Presently single largest supplier of paper to Bangladesh Government and the largest supplier of Web Offset machine in Bangladesh. He is pretty experienced in communicating and working with foreign farms also attended several courses in paper & printing machine technology. He has completed Bachelor of Business Administration.
Tapanendra Narayan Hore
Head of Finance
Mr. Tapan is Working as the chief finance officer in Sirius Broadband (BD) Ltd. from January 01, 2002. He has completed charted accountancy course (cacc) from A-Wahab & co. Prior to Sirius he worked as the head of finance and administration in pelican resource inc. a (USA & Bangladesh) joint venture group of companies for two years and as the chief of accounts and finance in Dowel group of industries (a group of industries in Bangladesh) and as a senior executive of accounts and finance in Rahim Textile mills limited for five years.

Touhidul Haque
DGM Marketting
Mr. Touhid has had seven years of experience in Marketing in the ISP sector. He worked as a senior executive Marketing in Access Telecom, a leading broadband ISP in Bangladesh for two years and as an assistant Manager in projitel for a year. Prior to Sirius he worked as an assistant manager in Sakon Bangladesh Ltd for VSAT and WLL solution, mostly data communication in banking sector. He has vast experience in VSAT solution, Data communication and Fiber Optic Network products. His responsibilities include planning sales strategies, attending corporate clients and exploring new target group and market. He did his Masters from Dhaka University.

Hanif Bhuiyan
CTO
Md. Hanif Bhuiyan has had over five years working experience in the ISP sector. His core responsibilities are network design, planning and implementation of systems under Linux, iBSD, AIX or any UNIX based platform. He has extensive knowledge in hardware based firewall like PIX and software based firewall, monitoring and troubleshooting various network problems and RF related problems with different monitoring tools and ensuring network health and server backup with implementation of redundancy plan. He is trained by Navini for NLOS setup and attended APNIC training on resource management and SANOG workshops on network security.
Sheikh Mohammad Firoz Faisal
DGM Customer Care
Mr. Sheikh Mohammad Firoz Faisal has five years experience in network planning and maintenance, deployment and troubleshooting, server management backup planning and link monitoring. He leads the team which monitors the Network, provisions new clients in the system and helps the field engineers and customer support engineers for troubleshooting. Worked as a part-time faculty member on Oracle 8.0 and Developer 2000 at Dots & Bits Computer Center, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Also developed software architecture for a library management system of Flora Systems Limited, Motijheel, Dhaka using Oracle 8.0 and Developer 2000 in platform Windows 2000. He developed a web application "online Exam center" using Java and MS Access 2000.
A.S.M. Solaiman
Network Architect
Mr. Solaiman, 26, has had about five years of experience in UNIX networking, system administration, and programming. Graduated and Masters from Applied Physics & Electronics, University of Dhaka, he joined a ISP as System Administrator. After the successful operation of that company, he joined Sirius. He worked in different digital video broadcasting systems of Sirius at the beginning. Later he deployed various network and server systems for corporate/enterprise clients for this company. At the same time he started to work on VoIP systems for a multi-national voice solution company and deployed different VoIP systems for international enterprises. He worked in voice codec for low bandwidth traffic. Most of his works related to voice protocols, codecs, call routing algorithms, integration of gateways and gatekeepers, internet voice exchanges. Now he is working on fiber optic systems like point to point, point to multi point fiber network, SDH system with STM-1 to 16, data and voice integration with FON. His present responsibilities includes system administration, giving data and voice solutions for corporate/enterprise networks. He is also skilled in different programming and scripting languages. He also received year long training on advanced networking systems in BUET jointly organized by Cisco, UNDP and APDIP.
A 15 member team of highly trained field engineers installs LOS CPEs at the customer's premises and provides on-site support. In addition to it 24x7 phone support is provided by a team of 8 engineers.
